Chemco Electrical Contractors Ltd. is a 100% Alberta owned Electrical Contractor based in Edmonton with a branch office in Fort McMurray.

The company was originally incorporated as Doug Smith Electric in 1963. Beginning with a small staff of approximately 10 people, our first work was typically commercial/institutional installations on schools and hospitals and later on some light industrial work in the oil and gas industry. Over the years the company has experienced tremendous growth with annual sales volume exceeding $220 million and a peak workforce of more than 1700 employees.
